Food-Dessert : Awfully Chocolate @ The Star

An attractive cafe that makes me want to grab a chocolate inside. The place looks exceptionally attractive with their range of chocolates, cakes and tarts display right at their door step over the glass doors.



Chocolate Tarts and Cream Buree

Besides the attractive desserts they serve coffee and hot chocolates too , which makes it just so right for a after meal chillax. One thing i noticed about this place is that all the service staff are young and cute girls dressed in their white t-shirt uniform :) Making the ordering experience kinda pleasent. Desserts, chocolates and young ladies are quite a good combination. I ordered a White Chocolate Cream Buree tart and hot chocolate drink.

The tart was caramelised with sugar on the top layer which adds more flavor to the not too sweet tart. The tart taste more like custard than white chocolate though. I tried eating all the different layer seperately but still couldnt quite get the white chocolate taste. Its nice though as the tart is soft and not dry.

 

 

Hot Chocolate

Hot Chocolate comes top with not whipped cream but fresh cream i think, its thick with dash of chocolate powder. The hot chocolate itself is very thick and i find it difficult to finish it after awhile because almost instanteously there is phlegm. My friend feels the same too and we have to drink plain water to wash our throat despite sharing just 1 hot chocolate. Those who loves thick chocolate might like it though.
